Our last show with the trio sold out in January, so I'm returning to the piano store for a solo concert. I'll play my original compositions incorporating freestyle improvisations that introduce random elements to the music to surprise and excite. Come for a musical adventure with me as I work in my most untethered format, playing solo songs and improvisations covering a spectrum of jazz styles and venturing into what I call “The Mysterious Free Zone." Definitely working without a net!

After the wonderful response we recieved at Piedmont Piano and Yoshi's we are taking the New Works Show to Pt. Reyes Station Dance Palace for our Marin County Debut! The Dance Palace Community Center is an incredible venue with a fantastic 8 foot Grotrian grand piano, full sound and lights system, and seats up to 200. (LET'S SELL IT OUT!) There are NEW New Works to add to the repertoire for this show, and we will be throwing in several of my standard repertoire that people tell me they love to hear.  Come spend the day at a beautiful beach in Pt. Reyes National Seashore, book an early (or late) dinner at any of the fantastic restaurants in Pt. Reyes Station, and discover the fabulous venue of the Dance Palace.

IN CONCERT - New Works - YOSHI'S - Tuesday, April 18, 2017

Our next show following the sold out success at Piedmont Piano back in January is at the world class jazz club Yoshi's which I feel is my Oakland home.  It's quite an honor to play the fabulous Steinway grand piano that has been played by all the greats of jazz.  My trio featuring Michael Wilcox on electric bass and Brian Andres on drums will be performing in duo and trio with me.  I will open the show with some solo pieces intended to redirect our energies from the political debacle that has overtaken our nation.
